Alaska, Hawaiian Airlines expand free Wi-Fi on flights.

Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have rapidly expanded complimentary, high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi to about 150 aircraft. The fast-tracked service—sponsored by T-Mobile—is completely free for members of their Atmos™ Rewards program. Alaska Airlines

The program includes the following features:

  • Available Fleet: 100% of the regional fleet (Embraer 175s) and about 50 mainline Boeing 737s are already equipped with Starlink.
  • Route Coverage: Hawaiian flights to and from North America and international routes are included. (Note: Hawaiian neighbor island flights do not currently feature Wi-Fi).
  • Seamless Streaming: Starlink enables gate-to-gate browsing, gaming, and streaming across multiple devices without the lag of traditional satellite internet.
  • Connection Process: To access the free service, passengers must join the airlines’ joint Atmos™ Rewards loyalty program. Enrollment is free.
  • Expansion Plans: The new digital portal rollout will become completely standard by mid-July, and full fleet integration (including widebody jets) is expected over the next year.
